When less is more

How’s this for an easy transformation? A house with an overgrown garden. Some people would cut plants back. Some would add more plants in. In this instance the gardens were completely scalped! But what a big difference.

The cost and time to do this would have been about $150 and a day if doing it yourself. Unfortunately the existing plants had damaged the retaining wall in a big way. Some people would try and patch it. Others would rebuild it. For some it is enough to walk away from the purchase altogether!

In this instance some landscaping rocks and a day of hard labour were required. Total cost $500. A great outcome at probably a tenth the cost of rebuilding the walls.
